Bayern Coach: Kane Deal Not Finalized, We Are Working on a Major Agreement

Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel indicated on Friday that "the procedures to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur have not yet been completed, but the German champions are working hard to finalize the deal." Tuchel told reporters, "We are working intensively on this agreement, we can confirm that, but as we speak, no agreement has been made, so the coach cannot talk about a player who is not at his club." He added, "I understand many questions about the possibilities and deadlines, all options are open, the first being to sign the player, and as of now, that has not happened." He continued, "It’s a huge agreement; we are talking about the captain of the England national team leaving the Premier League." The England captain has agreed to move to Bayern and is expected to arrive in Munich later today to complete the deal, which is valued at around €100 million, a record in the Bundesliga.
