A patrol from the Northern Regional Directorate in Danniyeh apprehended the Syrian national (M. A.), who had been evading authorities and was wanted for multiple summons and judgments. He has been handed over to the relevant judicial authorities. The Syrian (M. A.) had become a "dangerous case" in the area of Sir Danniyeh and its surroundings, with his situation worsening as he engaged in drug trafficking among young men and women in the North, in addition to committing thefts of homes and institutions. This led the residents of the area to remain in a constant state of alert against his attacks on them, their children, livelihoods, and properties.
Lebanese security agencies attempted to arrest him, but he consistently evaded capture with the assistance of a gang he had formed. This worsened the situation and negatively impacted the daily lives of the citizens. Residents raised their voices, and several complaints reached the General Directorate of State Security due to the escalation of his activities. Subsequently, patrols from the Danniyeh office of the Directorate were mobilized, alongside other patrols from the Northern Directorate. After monitoring for over a month and conducting several repeated attempts, sometimes exceeding three raids in various locations in a single night, one of the patrols was able to capture him. He was interrogated and handed over to the judiciary for legal action against him.
