Traffic Measures for Tomorrow, Sunday: Avoid This Route!

A statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, stating: "The Beirut Marathon Association will hold training sessions as part of a training program for runners who wish to participate for the first time in the marathon race of 42.195 kilometers during the Beirut Marathon events." The statement added, "Therefore, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces will take the following traffic measures: the closure of the road from the Gemmayzeh area to Mar Mikhael, the river promenade, and coastal roads starting from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM on the following dates: 17 and 24/09/2023, and 8, 15, 17, and 22/10/2023." The directorate requested "citizens to be informed and to adhere to the instructions and guidance of the Internal Security Forces personnel, as well as the directional traffic signs placed in the area to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion."
