A statement was issued by the Gathering of Public Administration Employees today, Tuesday, containing the following: "Following statement number (4) that was released yesterday on 27/11/2023, and in coordination with the Association of Graduates of the Institute of Administration, due to the communications made with the relevant authorities and after coordinating with colleagues in most departments, it has become clear that the government's procrastination and indifference towards the demands of public administration employees, especially the decree approved by the Civil Service Council and the State Shura Council, is evident through its absence from the Cabinet session scheduled for tomorrow, 29/11/2023." The statement added: "The Gathering of Public Administration Employees announces a work stoppage starting from tomorrow, Wednesday, 29/11/2023, until further notice. The gathering hopes that all employees will adhere to the work stoppage to initiate the movement for reclaiming rights, especially as there is no reason preventing the government from improving the conditions of workers in the administration similar to others in various sectors."
