Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said today, Friday, that "his country hopes that the talks initiated by Qatar will succeed in reaching an agreement to stop the fighting in Gaza before the beginning of the month of Ramadan." He expressed hope at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey that "we can reach a cessation of hostilities and a hostage exchange, and everyone understands that we have a limited timeframe for success before the onset of Ramadan."
