The spokesperson for the National Security Council at the White House, John Kirby, indicated that U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan urged during his meeting with the Qatari Prime Minister today, Tuesday, to make every possible effort to pressure Hamas to secure the release of hostages without delay. Kirby stated, "The United States may resort to a graduated response to the attack," which resulted in the deaths of three of its forces stationed in Jordan. He clarified that "the response may include multiple actions and not just a single move." Sullivan will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, with Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer to discuss the conflict in Gaza.
