The Minister of Education and Higher Education in the caretaker government, Abbas Al-Halabi, revealed that "in line with his decision regarding the timely payment of productivity allowances for teachers, the General Directorate of Education and its technical units have completed the administrative and financial procedures to transfer the first batch in cash dollars to about 57,000 beneficiaries from the educational staff and workers in official schools, high schools, and vocational institutions for both morning and evening shifts. The beneficiary lists and phone numbers have been communicated to UNICEF and the money transfer company OMT, and notifications for collection have begun reaching the beneficiaries' phone numbers." In a statement, he extended his greetings to the teachers and commended "the efforts of the administration that worked diligently on every detail to ensure that everyone receives their rightful payments based on the announced payment mechanism."
