The Islamic Jihad Movement announced the death of Israeli hostage Hanaa Katzir. Katzir appeared in a recorded video a few days prior, where she criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She stated at the time: "The one responsible for all this chaos and everything that has happened to us is Bibi Netanyahu. He has destroyed everything beautiful, he targeted people and tortured them; he is responsible for the deaths of children, and this has harmed our community. He is responsible for the entire problem. Netanyahu should leave the government and stay at home. The Jihad fighters did everything to keep us alive."
