Lebanese Foreign Ministry Warns of Consequences of Israeli Attacks

The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants called in a statement on "all countries wishing to restore stability and calm to southern Lebanon to condemn the ongoing and persistent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, the latest of which occurred today in the town of Ghazieh, southern Lebanon." They urged "the international community to pressure Israel to stop its provocative attempts to expand the scope of war and drag Lebanon into a conflict that it is striving to prevent, given the threat to the security and stability of Lebanon and the entire region, which would result only in devastation and ruin."
