The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's condemnation in the strongest terms of "Israel's announcement to confiscate 8,000 dunams of land in the Jordan Valley of Palestinian territories, in a blatant violation of international laws and relevant resolutions, and as an extension of the gross practices of forcible settlement operations." The statement added: "The Kingdom emphasizes that the continued Israeli occupation, in violation of international law and international legitimacy decisions without deterrence, undermines the credibility of the international system and undermines opportunities for just and sustainable peace based on the two-state solution. The Kingdom reiterates its demand to the international community to immediately stop the systemic violations by Israeli settlers and to return the confiscated Palestinian lands."
