Sisi Heads to Aqaba for a "Trilateral Summit" on Gaza

The Egyptian presidency announced that "Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi will head to the Jordanian city of Aqaba today, Wednesday, to attend the Egyptian-Jordanian-Palestinian summit." According to the Egyptian presidency, the summit aims to consult among the three leaders regarding the Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip and to enhance efforts to halt the escalation and save the people of Gaza from the ongoing humanitarian tragedy. It was clarified that Sisi is scheduled to present Egypt's efforts to enforce a ceasefire and deliver humanitarian aid during the summit, along with outlining Egypt's vision for reaching a fair and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
