Current Situation in the South

Today, the Israeli army opened fire from its heavy machine guns on the outskirts of the town of al-Bustan from positions near the town of Aita al-Shaab. The areas of al-Jbeen, Um al-Tut, and the outskirts of Tayr Harfa in the western sector were targeted with artillery shelling. An Israeli drone attacked the Hamoul Valley - Naqoura. Israeli warplanes flew at very low altitudes over several areas, including Marjeyoun, and flew low over Khardali, breaking the sound barrier, while dropping thermal balloons to confuse ground air defenses. A correspondent from Al-Manar reported that the Israeli artillery targeted the outskirts of the towns of Rashaya al-Fukhar, Kfar Hamam, and al-Mari in the Hasbaya district of southern Lebanon.

On its part, the Islamic Resistance targeted a "lift carrying surveillance and spying equipment in the Dufif Farms using suitable weapons and achieved a direct hit." They also targeted "the Haddab Yaroun position twice with suitable weapons and achieved a direct hit," in addition to targeting "the Marj position with suitable weapons and also achieved a direct hit." **Civil Defense**

The Lebanese Islamic Scouts announced today that the Lebanese Civil Defense extinguished a fire that broke out in a vehicle due to an attack by an Israeli drone. The association mentioned: "The firefighting teams of the Lebanese Civil Defense worked to extinguish the fires that broke out as a result of an Israeli drone targeting a vehicle in the town of Aytaroun on the southern Lebanon border. The damages were limited to material losses without recording any injuries among citizens."
