Father Tortures Daughter to Death with Wife's Help

A man tortured his 11-year-old daughter in collaboration with his wife using horrific and brutal methods until she died from the abuse, without any known reasons or motives behind this crime in the town of Mleiha in the rural area of Damascus, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The observatory announced that the relevant security forces managed to arrest the father and his wife and have begun investigation procedures. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented 65 deliberate killings since the beginning of 2024, some of which were due to domestic violence or motivated by theft, while the motives for others remain unknown. The victims of these crimes totaled 68 individuals, including 4 children, 13 women, and 51 men and young men.
