In response to the ship’s request, the U.S. destroyer Grievous and the destroyer Laboon responded. The U.S. Central Command explained that while responding to the attack, the destroyer Grievous intercepted two anti-ship ballistic missiles launched from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen. The command clarified that the ship was seaworthy and there were no reports of injuries.
