Al-Makari Discusses Plan to Revitalize Lebanese Drama with Actors' Syndicate Delegation

Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Al-Makari, received a delegation from the Actors' Syndicate in his office at the ministry, which included board members: Tony Aad, Wafa Mashalani, Carlos Azar, and Saad Hamdan. Hamdan spoke on behalf of the delegation, indicating that "the visit aims to discuss with the Minister of Information a plan to revitalize Lebanese drama through collaboration with local television stations and economic and media entities, in order to provide opportunities for actors who are suffering from a lack of work to have a good share of those productions." He highlighted "the cooperation that Al-Makari has shown in this regard," revealing that they are "about to hold a workshop on this topic after completing their communications with economic entities, followed by another meeting with Minister Al-Makari to find a solution to the matter." He announced that he has sensed positive signs in this regard.
