The committees of judicial assistants in Lebanon announced the suspension of their strike and the return to work, awaiting the decisions of the Council of Ministers. They stated in a communiqué: "Based on our meetings with the Minister of Justice Henry Khoury and the Director General and Head of the Judicial Assistants Fund, and based on some improvements in the revenues of the Judicial Assistants Fund, and in the interest of the public and the needs of clients and detainees, as well as our strong commitment to the interests of the people, and since we do not advocate for disruption, and while waiting for what the Council of Ministers will provide regarding salaries and allowances for the public sector, of which we are a part, the judicial assistants have decided to suspend the strike and return to work, while keeping their sessions open regarding the outcomes of their full entitlements from the Council of Ministers."
