"Haj Sadiq," the Iranian Quds Force intelligence chief in Syria, and "Haj Moharram," a leader in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, were killed in an Israeli attack on Damascus. Several Iranian leaders and an Iraqi leader named "Abu Montazer" also died in the strike. The attack targeted a multi-story residential building in the Syrian capital, Damascus, which was used by Iranian advisors supporting the Syrian government and was leveled to the ground.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the "Mazzeh raid in Damascus resulted in 10 deaths, including leaders from the Revolutionary Guard," noting that "the targeted area in Damascus is inhabited by leaders from Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad." The official news agency reported that "an Israeli strike targeted a residential building in the Mazzeh neighborhood of Damascus."

An security source in a regional alliance supportive of Syria told Reuters that four members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, including a high-ranking official in its intelligence unit, were killed in the Israeli air raid on Damascus on Saturday. The source added that the attack, which used "precision-guided missiles," resulted in the destruction of a multi-story building in the Mazzeh district of the Syrian capital.
