Title: Netanyahu Rejects External Pressures Regarding a Palestinian State

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected "international impositions" regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state in a social media post on Friday. Netanyahu stated, "Israel categorically rejects international orders concerning a lasting settlement with the Palestinians. Such an arrangement will only be reached through direct negotiations between the parties, without preconditions." He further indicated that his government would oppose any "unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state," asserting that any move of this kind by foreign governments would constitute "an unprecedented massive reward for terrorism" following Hamas's attacks on October 7 and would "prevent any future peace agreement." The Prime Minister's statement was published after 6 PM Eastern Time, approximately two hours after a phone call with U.S. President Joe Biden, during which the two leaders discussed the war between Israel and Hamas, according to a statement from the White House released on Thursday. A spokesperson from the National Security Council confirmed to CNN that the call took place before 4 PM Eastern Time.
