On Saturday, foreign ministers of the G7 expressed their concern regarding the risk of forced displacement of Palestinian civilians from Gaza and the potential consequences of an Israeli military operation in Rafah. Italy, currently holding the G7 presidency, stated in a press release, "The foreign ministers called for urgent action to address the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Gaza, especially the suffering of 1.5 million civilians who have fled to Rafah, and expressed deep concern over the potentially devastating consequences for the civilian population resulting from another comprehensive Israeli military operation in that area." The foreign ministers of the UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United States met in Munich today.
