The Iraqi intelligence agency announced today, Saturday, the arrest of two of the most dangerous leaders of ISIS outside the country's borders. In a statement, it was revealed that the two individuals arrested were involved in some of the most heinous terrorist crimes in Iraq, and they were apprehended abroad after a pursuit that lasted for years.

The statement detailed that "the first leader is Issam Abdul Ali Sayyid, known as Abu Zaid, who was responsible for ISIS's media activities in Fallujah since 2014. The second leader is Bashir Abdul Ali Sayyid, known as Abu Ahmed Itissaalat, who was responsible for all ISIS terrorist operations in Fallujah since 2014 and oversaw the security and encryption of ISIS communications."

Just a few days ago, the Counter-Terrorism Service announced the capture of what it described as the "financial administrative official" of ISIS in Iraq.
