Hesham, the son of the late musician Helmy Bakar, revealed in a statement to "Laha" that he has authorized lawyer Mortada Mansour to file a complaint against his father's widow, Samah Al-Qurashi, accusing her of murder. Hesham Helmy Bakar stated, "I have appointed lawyer Mortada Mansour to file a complaint against my father's wife for murder. My father has passed away, but his rights will be restored."
Mortada Mansour issued a statement detailing the circumstances and specifics surrounding Helmy Bakar’s death, confirming that he will file a complaint against Samah Al-Qurashi, accusing her of killing Helmy Bakar after analyses indicated that he died of poisoning. Mansour said in his complaint: "The late Helmy Bakar was taken to the hospital in Sharqia, where the treating doctor reported that he arrived suffering from poisoning. Therefore, as the representative of his only son Hesham, I will file a complaint against his wife, accusing her of killing him."
Mansour also issued a warning to Samah Al-Qurashi, stating: "I advise this woman not to attend his funeral or mourning services because his family, fans, and friends are in a state of upheaval."
