Kremlin Will Not Comment on ISIS Claiming "Krokus Attack"

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated today, Monday, that "it is inappropriate to comment on the investigation regarding the shooting that occurred last Friday at the Crocus City concert hall near Moscow." The Kremlin emphasized that it would not comment until the investigations into the attack are complete. Peskov also refrained from responding to a question regarding "the treatment of four detained suspects, whose images circulated showing injuries that appear to indicate they had been beaten or physically harmed." He said, "Investigations are ongoing. A coherent narrative has not yet been issued. We are only discussing initial data." Peskov added that President Vladimir Putin does not intend to visit the site of the attack.
