The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced today, Friday, in a statement that "within the framework of ongoing cooperation with civil society institutions, in alignment with the principles of community policing, the Internal Security Forces participated in the opening of the 40th Lebanese Book Festival, organized by the Cultural Movement - Antelias on February 29, 2024, which will continue until March 10, 2024, in the Grand Hall of the Mar Elias Monastery - Antelias. In addition to the book fair, this festival includes specialized digital platforms, seminars, and cultural and poetic meetings. The director general of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Osman, was represented by Brigadier General Charbel Fram, accompanied by several officers. Therefore, the Internal Security Forces invite esteemed citizens to visit their designated area at the aforementioned exhibition, where their personnel will conduct awareness activities on the dangers of speeding and online extortion, as well as display publications and magazines issued by the General Directorate and distribute brochures."
