The governor of Russia's Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed on Wednesday that Ukrainian forces shelled a town near the border for the third time in a week, resulting in four injuries and damage to homes and vehicles. Gladkov stated in a message posted on the messaging app Telegram that two individuals were hospitalized due to the artillery fire targeting the town of Shebekino. He added, "The shelling caused damage to several houses, a school, and other facilities."

Additionally, he mentioned that from today, the evacuation of children from Shebekino and Grayvoron districts in Belgorod region has commenced, with the first 300 children being relocated to Voronezh.

In another report, a coordination center established by Moscow announced that five people died and 19 were injured due to Ukrainian shelling of the village of "Karbaty" in the Luhansk region, which is controlled by Russia in eastern Ukraine. The center stated via Telegram: "Ukrainian forces used HIMARS rocket launchers to attack a poultry farm in Karbaty."
