Wave of Beetles Hits Lebanon

After invading the suburbs of the Syrian capital Damascus, swarms of "black beetles" have reached Lebanon, spreading in the Bekaa, Baalbek, and surrounding areas. Residents have reported seeing large numbers of them on roads, sidewalks, and fields, coinciding with a heatwave affecting Lebanon.
