Civil defense personnel extinguished a fire that broke out inside a refrigerator and washing machine repair shop located on the ground floor of a residential building in the Shiyyah neighborhood of the southern suburbs of Beirut. Concurrently, they worked to evacuate the building's residents due to the thick smoke resulting from the fire, and one citizen was transported to Bahman Hospital for treatment. On April 3, 2024, at 12:00 PM, the civil defense units extinguished the fire in the repair shop.
