Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that "it is evident that Washington intends to continue funding the war effort in Ukraine until the last Ukrainian." This came in response to a question about U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit to Kyiv on Wednesday. In a press conversation, he said, "We hear repeated statements that they (the Americans) intend to continue assisting Kyiv no matter how long it takes." He added, "In other words, they will continue to support Ukraine amid the state of war (and will continue) waging war until the last Ukrainian and will spare no expense for this. This is our perception and what we know. This will not affect the course of the special military operation." In a gesture of support, Blinken arrived in Kyiv earlier today as Ukraine's counteroffensive against Russian forces enters its fourth month without achieving significant gains.
