EU Supports Imposing Sanctions on Those Arming Israel's Enemies

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated on Wednesday that EU foreign ministers wish to impose new sanctions on those arming Israel's enemies and those attacking ships in the Red Sea. Tajani mentioned following a meeting of EU foreign ministers: "There was a consensus on the necessity of imposing sanctions on anyone providing drones, weapons, and missiles to those attacking Israel and those targeting ships in the Red Sea." The minister added that the issue of sanctions will also be discussed during the upcoming G7 foreign ministers' meeting, which he is set to chair in the next three days on the Italian island of Capri.
