Injuries of Dozens of Students Due to Circus Stage Collapse in Egypt

Today, Monday, in the New Valley Governorate of Egypt, families gathered in front of the Kharga Hospital after dozens of students from three schools were injured when a stand collapsed at a recreational circus during a school trip. The incident occurred at the Kharga Youth Center in the New Valley Governorate. More than 15 ambulance vehicles were dispatched to the accident site to transport the injured students to the Kharga Specialized Hospital for necessary treatment.

Immediately, security forces were deployed to the site of the circus stage collapse to investigate the reasons behind the accident, and the concerned security agencies intensified their investigations to uncover the circumstances and causes of the incident and hold those responsible accountable.

In another development, dozens of parents of the student victims of the circus stage collapse flocked to the accident site to check on their children. Additionally, many other family members of the victims congregated around the Kharga Specialized Hospital, waiting for updates on the condition of their injured relatives.

As of now, the Kharga Specialized Hospital, which received all the injured children, has not yet announced the number of cases or their health status pending the examination of all cases. However, initial assessments indicate that more than 38 students were injured, according to local media sources.
