Gallant: We Will Continue Our Operations in Gaza at Different Levels

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced today, Monday, that Israel will gradually transition to the next phase of operations in the Gaza War, during which residents may be able to return to the northern part of the coastal enclave. In a joint press conference with U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in Tel Aviv, he stated, "I can tell you that we will soon be able to distinguish between different areas in Gaza." Gallant indicated that this will allow Israel to begin working on the return of residents "perhaps sooner in the north" of Gaza than their return to the south.
