Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated today, Saturday, that "Ukraine's lack of weapons strengthens Russian President Vladimir Putin's position." He continued in a speech during the Munich Security Conference, "Unfortunately, keeping Ukraine in an artificial state of weaponry deficiency, especially in artillery and long-range capabilities, allows Putin to adapt to the current pace of the war." He pointed out that "the destroyed town of Avdiivka in eastern Ukraine, from which Ukrainian forces withdrew, is facing a severe shortage of ammunition, with the U.S. Congress delaying military aid for several months." Zelensky concluded: "Don't ask Ukraine when the war will end; ask yourselves, why is Putin still able to continue it?"
