Netanyahu: I Will Meet with the War Council at the Beginning of the Week to Approve Operational Plans in Rafah

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that "through a mix of military pressure and firm negotiations, we will bring back the hostages, eliminate Hamas, and achieve our war objectives." He revealed that he will meet at the beginning of the week with the Israeli War Council to "approve operational plans in Rafah, including the evacuation of the civilian population from there," as he put it. This comes amid Arab and international warnings against launching an Israeli military operation in Rafah, where approximately 1.5 million Palestinians have been displaced due to the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.
