West Ham Player Scores World-Class Goal from Corner (Video)

James Ward-Prowse kept West Ham United's hopes alive for qualifying for the Europa League after scoring a stunning goal from a corner kick against Wolverhampton (2-1) during the 32nd round of the English Premier League. As the match was nearing its end and the score was tied at 1-1, West Ham was awarded a corner in the 85th minute, taken by Ward-Prowse directly toward the goal, surprising Wolverhampton's goalkeeper who did not expect the shot to be taken in that manner and stepped slightly off his line, thinking it would be a cross.

Thanks to this goal, West Ham clinched the victory with a score of 2-1. The official West Ham account on the "X" platform reacted to the beautiful goal scored by Ward-Prowse, re-shared the video, and commented: "Goal from the corner" accompanied by an astonished emoji.

With this win, West Ham increased their points to 48, sitting in seventh place in the league, now nine points behind Tottenham whose fifth place qualifies for next season's Europa League.
