The Lebanese Press Syndicate announced in a statement today, Monday, that "due to the lack of a legal quorum for the electoral general assembly, which was scheduled for today, April 15, 2024, for both the political and non-political categories, the elections have been postponed in accordance with Article 23 of the Syndicate's internal regulations. They will now take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 22, 2024, for the category of political publications, followed immediately by the session of the general assembly for non-political publications and local news agencies, at the Press Syndicate headquarters." The statement concluded: "We hope that colleagues will participate in the elections for their Syndicate Council members."
