Announcement of the First Day of Eid al-Fitr by Fadlallah's Office

The jurisprudential office of the religious authority, Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah (may God be pleased with him), issued a statement announcing that "Wednesday, April 10, 2024, is the first day of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, based on the jurisprudential understanding of the reference, relying on precise astronomical calculations indicating the certainty of the moon's visibility in most parts of the world. We ask God to make it a blessed and joyful holiday for the Islamic nation, to accept our fasting and deeds, to encompass us with His mercy, and to make us among those who gain His pleasure and paradise."
