Death of a Notorious Drug Trafficker in Iraq

The spokesman for the Ministry of Interior and the Security Media Cell in Iraq, Major Maged Miri, announced today, Wednesday, the killing of a dangerous drug trafficker after a confrontation in Basra. Miri stated in a statement that "a joint force from the Basra Drug Combat Unit and the SWAT team arrived at the location of the dangerous drug trafficker, and after engaging him, they managed to kill him." He added that "the trafficker had previously engaged with a security force three days ago and managed to escape after injuring one of the police officers, but our security forces continued to pursue him until he was apprehended."
