Lenovo Unveils First Laptop with Transparent Screen (Video)

Lenovo revealed a unique laptop equipped with a transparent screen at the MWC 2024 tech exhibition in Barcelona. According to information provided by Lenovo experts, the laptop's screen can display content while allowing viewers to see objects behind it. It also features technology that can darken the background, enabling users to view only what is displayed on the screen.

As the Project Crystal laptop is still a prototype, Lenovo has not disclosed its full specifications. However, it is known to have a 17.3-inch Micro LED display with a brightness level of approximately 1000 nits and a transparency level of 55% at peak brightness.

Another notable feature of this device is that it does not come with a traditional keyboard like standard laptops; instead, it is equipped with a flat, touch-sensitive keyboard that resembles glass, with buttons appearing as illuminated icons. It is still unclear when Lenovo will release this laptop and whether it will be available in its current form.
