Title: Spain Reports First Suspected Case of Deadly

Spain has discovered its first suspected case of the Marburg virus, a deadly infectious disease that has led to the isolation of over 200 individuals in Equatorial Guinea, according to authorities in the Valencia region of Spain. Health authorities in the region stated that a 34-year-old individual who recently visited Equatorial Guinea has been transferred from a private hospital to an isolation unit at a hospital in Valencia, and is undergoing medical tests. The World Health Organization noted that the fatality rate due to the Marburg virus can reach up to 88%. There is currently no approved vaccine or antiviral treatment available.
