Royal Address: Saudi Arabia Works to Support and Balance Global Oil Markets

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman delivered the annual royal address today, Wednesday, marking the opening of the fourth year of the eighth session of the Shura Council. In his speech, bin Salman stated, "The Kingdom has worked to create Arab and Islamic movements to stop the aggression against Gaza," adding that the Kingdom hosted several major summits that brought together more than 100 countries last year. He also mentioned, "Saudi Arabia's steadfast approach is based on respecting the national sovereignty of all countries."

Additionally, Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized that Saudi Arabia is progressing in its developmental journey according to Vision 2030. He continued, "The Saudi economy is the fastest growing among the G20 countries," indicating that tourism in Saudi Arabia has achieved historic growth. According to the official Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday, citing the annual royal address to the Shura Council, the Kingdom "is working within its energy strategy and its leading role in ensuring global economic and energy market stability, to support the stability and balance of global oil markets."

It added, "This is evident in its pivotal role in establishing and sustaining the OPEC+ agreement as a result of its initiatives aimed at accelerating market stability and ensuring supply sustainability, as well as the Kingdom's commitment to developing and investing in all of its energy resources."
