USA Imposes Sanctions on Two Leaders of Sudan's Rapid Support Forces

The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced in a statement today, Wednesday, that it has imposed sanctions on two senior leaders of Sudan's Rapid Support Forces following attacks in North Darfur. The statement indicated that the sanctioned leaders are Major General Osman Mohamed Hamad Mohamed, Head of Operations of the Rapid Support Forces, and Ali Yaqub Jibril, Commander of the Forces in Central Darfur.
