The Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, chaired a session of the Council of Ministers at the Grand Serail around twelve-thirty, attended by Deputy Prime Minister Saadeh Al-Shami and the following ministers: Education and Higher Education Abbas Halabi, Information Ziad Makari, Youth and Sports George Klass, Finance Youssef Khalil, Industry George Bouchakian, Communications Johnny Al-Qarm, Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi, Health Firas Al-Abyad, Culture Mohammad Wissam Murtada, Environment Nasser Yassin, Labor Mustafa Bayram, Agriculture Abbas Al-Hajj Hasan, Public Works and Transport Ali Hamieh, Economy Amin Salam, and Health Firas Al-Abyad. The Director General of the Presidency of the Republic Antoine Chaqir and the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mahmoud Makiyeh also participated.
