The statement continued: "The Saudi Federation commends the Asian Federation's commitment to holding the match in suitable conditions, which the Saudi Federation observed through the continuous follow-up by its representatives who accompanied Al-Ittihad Club to Iran." The Saudi Federation confirmed it would "take all legal routes to preserve the club's rights."
