PSG Advances to Champions League Semifinals by Overcoming Barcelona

Kylian Mbappé scored two goals to lead Paris Saint-Germain to the semifinals of the UEFA Champions League after a 4-1 victory over host Barcelona in the second leg of the quarter-finals. PSG overturned a 3-2 deficit from the first leg, winning 6-4 on aggregate, marking the French team's first semifinal appearance since the 2020-2021 season.

Despite Barcelona taking the lead just 12 minutes into the match through Brazilian Raphinha, PSG took full advantage of the red card issued to home defender Ronald Araújo. Ousmane Dembélé managed to equalize for PSG five minutes before halftime, before midfielder Vitinha scored nine minutes after the break.

Mbappé converted a penalty in the 61st minute and then scored again with a close-range shot in the 89th minute to secure PSG's advancement. PSG will face German side Borussia Dortmund in the semifinals, following Dortmund's 5-4 aggregate triumph over Atlético Madrid.
