The Lebanese Civil Defense announced today, Friday, that "elements of the Civil Defense managed, after continuing search and rescue operations and a comprehensive field survey at the site of the destroyed building in Nabatieh following an Israeli airstrike, from 8:30 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, until 1:00 AM today, Friday, February 16, 2024, to recover the bodies of the eleven martyrs who fell as a result of the strike on the building. The search and debris removal operations were conducted in cooperation with local rescue organizations." They added: "The personnel also transported two injured individuals to the Nabatieh Government Hospital, who were wounded in the same airstrike that targeted the building. At the same time, the personnel worked to extinguish the fire that broke out inside the targeted building." The Israeli army had conducted an airstrike on Nabatieh on Wednesday, resulting in the deaths of several members of one family, in addition to a number of wounded and missing, including women and children.
