The scope of security developments has expanded from the south and reached the Iqlim al-Kharub. An Israeli drone targeted a vehicle today, Saturday, in the town of Jadra, resulting in casualties. A security source indicated that "the attack resulted in the death of three individuals, including a member of Hezbollah, due to Israeli shelling targeting a vehicle in the town of Jadra, north of Sidon."
Hezbollah announced in a statement the death of one of its members, "Khalil Mohamed Ali Faris 'Hamza', born in 1969 from the town of Aitron in southern Lebanon, residing in Jadra in Mount Lebanon." Additionally, four security sources confirmed to Reuters that a Palestinian figure close to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) survived an Israeli attack about 60 kilometers inside Lebanese territory. A security source mentioned that "Bassel Saleh, a Hamas official, survived the strike on the town of Jadra." Israeli army radio indicated that "Bassel Saleh, targeted in Mount Lebanon, is responsible for recruitment in the West Bank."
On the ground, three individuals of Syrian nationality were injured in an Israeli drone strike on the town of Al-Khayam this morning, near one of the houses in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon. The town of Hanin and the outskirts of Ramish were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling from Israeli army positions. The National News Agency reported that "the Israeli army conducted an airstrike in the center of Naqoura," adding, "another strike was launched around the 'UNIFIL' headquarters in Naqoura."
Hezbollah announced the death of one of its members in the Israeli strike on Naqoura, identified as "Imad Ahmed Malhem 'Shabyl Zahra', born in 1990 from the town of Naqoura in southern Lebanon." Hezbollah also seized an Israeli army drone of the "Sky Lark" type in good technical condition. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes conducted an airstrike targeting the woods of the town of Kunin in the Bint Jbeil district, dropping two air-to-ground missiles. The Israeli aircraft carried out another airstrike around 10:40 AM, targeting the same location in Kunin, and also struck the town of Markaba.
