Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the recent rocket barrage through a statement that read: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, and in response to the Israeli assaults on the steadfast southern villages and civilian homes, particularly the targeting of a civilian home that resulted in the martyrdom of a woman, her husband, and their son in the town of Hula, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance at 08:10 PM on Tuesday, 05-03-2024, shelled the Kfar Blum settlement with dozens of Katyusha rockets."
