In a historic match, British boxer Tyson Fury and Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk meet today, Saturday, at the "Kingdom Arena" in Riyadh in the first fight for the unification of world heavyweight titles in 25 years. Both the British and the Ukrainian fighters arrive in Riyadh undefeated, with each looking to become the first world champion in boxing with four belts. Fury, 35, holds the World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight title, while his 37-year-old opponent Usyk has claimed the other three belts: International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Association (WBA), and World Boxing Organization (WBO). The winner of the match will be the first unified heavyweight champion since British boxer Lennox Lewis in 1999, when he defeated American Evander Holyfield, and will enter the records alongside Americans Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. Usyk was previously crowned in Saudi Arabia against British fighter Anthony Joshua, while Fury defeated Cameroonian Francis Ngannou.
