Salah Achieves New Record in the Premier League

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah scored one goal and assisted another in his team Liverpool's 4-2 victory over Tottenham on Sunday evening, in the 36th round of the Premier League. Salah scored his goal in the 16th minute with a precise header from a cross delivered by his teammate Cody Gakpo. In the second half, Salah assisted his team's fourth goal, scored by young English player Harvey Elliott with a long-range shot. According to the "Opta" network, Salah became the first player in Premier League history to reach 10 or more goals and 10 or more assists in three consecutive seasons. The network added that Salah is only the second player to achieve this record in five seasons, alongside Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney. It is worth mentioning that Salah has scored 18 goals for Liverpool in the Premier League this season and provided 10 assists.
