UAE Grants Golden Residency to Top Students

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security in the UAE announced the granting of golden residency to top graduates from schools and universities in the country for the year 2023. The decision to grant golden residency is in line with the directives of the authorities and recognizes the efforts, determination, and perseverance of students and graduates in excelling and succeeding in their pursuit of knowledge.

Golden residency is awarded to students who achieve a score of 95% or higher in the high school certificate for a duration of five years without a guarantor. The visa benefits also extend to their family members based on the approved nomination list provided by the Emirates Foundation for School Education to the authority. Additionally, golden residency is granted to local and international university students, provided they graduate with honors, achieving a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or 3.75, depending on the accredited classification of the universities, both within the country and abroad.
