Leaked Exam Answers... Resulting in 3-Year Prison Sentence

A Algerian court sentenced a young woman to three years in prison for leaking answers to the country's middle school exams, along with imposing a financial fine. The court of El-Dhahran in the province of Tarf issued the ruling against the sister of a candidate for the middle school certificate exams. A statement from the public prosecutor indicated that the convicted individual's sister was caught cheating using a mobile phone, through which she was communicating with her sister who was dictating the answers to her. The sister was presented before the public prosecutor to face charges under immediate appearance procedures for leaking exam questions and answers.
